1. Platform Services & Account Eligibility

TryCareerLens provides an AI-augmented technical candidate evaluation and mentorship environment for software engineers and recruiters in India:

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal capacity under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to enter into a binding agreement.
• Account Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information regarding your educational credentials, employment history, and technical background.
• Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and authentication tokens.

2. Billing, Fees & Refund Policy

Platform feature credits, resume re-uploads, AI chat packs, assessment re-attempts, and recruiter tier subscriptions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay:

• Initial Upload & Assessments: Candidate onboarding (1st resume upload, 1st GitHub sync, 5 AI chat messages, and initial assessment attempt) is free.
• Paid Feature Credits: Subsequent resume re-uploads (₹39), GitHub re-syncs (₹39), AI chat message packs (₹49 for 25 credits), and assessment re-attempts (₹59 single / ₹99 combo) are processed as non-refundable digital goods upon transaction completion.
• Refund Policy: Pursuant to the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 (India), digital credits that have been activated or consumed are non-refundable. If a transaction fails due to banking network errors but funds are debited, Razorpay auto-refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.

3. Assessment Integrity & Acceptable Use

TryCareerLens evaluates candidate technical comprehension. The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without refund:

• Attempting to bypass, manipulate, or inject malicious payloads into technical assessment engines or integrity logs.
• Impersonating another developer or uploading fraudulent resume files/GitHub repository credentials.
• Scraping, reverse engineering, or automated extraction of platform content or recruiter candidate profiles.

4. Intellectual Property & TryCareerLens™ Brand Notice

All proprietary algorithms, AI prompt architectures, assessment frameworks, UI components, and software code are the sole intellectual property of TryCareerLens Platforms India.

5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mysuru / Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
